I get:
$ git clang-format-5.0 --style file -p --extensions c,h
YAML:34:23: error: unknown key 'AlignEscapedNewlines'
AlignEscapedNewlines: Left
^~~~
Error reading /home/peff/compile/git/.clang-format: Invalid argument
Same with clang-format-3.8.
And if I remove that line, I get:
YAML:155:25: error: unknown key 'PenaltyBreakAssignment'
PenaltyBreakAssignment: 100
Removing that gives:
YAML:86:22: error: unknown key 'BreakStringLiterals'
BreakStringLiterals: false
And removing that gives me a clean output. I have no idea why my clang
doesn't like these (but presumably yours does). It's clang-format-5.0 in
Debian unstable (and clang-format-3.8, etc).
