[PATCH 0/2] Mailmap in log improvements

The goal of these patches are to:

 - allow the use of mailmap when looking for commits
   authored/committed by a mapped name/email.

 - add an option so that --use-mailmap option can be used
   automatically.

Tests are included.

This series is based on ap/log-mailmap.
