Trenden är nog att alltmer använda religiösa termer enbart för religion. Titta
i andra program så ser ni att "Byt namn..." oftast är det som används i menyer 
o.dyl. Däremot använder man ofta "döpa om" i talspråk.

Översättningarna i Git-gui är prejudicerande för denna översättning. Sen 
kanske de inte är 100%-aga heller, men i så fall bör både C Git och Git Gui
ändras.  Sen finns kanske ytterligare översättningar av andra Git-verktyg.

I do not think this "wrapping up" refers to reformatting of the commit
message. I think it refers to finishing writing the message (a

Are you sure about that? I was unable to figure it out when I looked at

I am pretty sure. That error message is output in case a file
called "somefile.lock" cannot be closed and renamed to "somefile"
(see lockfile.c:commit_lock_file().)
