[PATCH 3/3] simplify output of conflicting merge

From: Clemens Buchacher <hidden>
Date: 2016-06-15 22:46:33
Subsystem: the rest · Maintainer: Linus Torvalds

This simplifies the code without changing the semantics and removes
the unhelpful "needs $sha1" part of the conflicting submodule message.
