open--I'm still pretty ignorant of that whole toolchain.
As I recall there were some options for alternate/additional
catalogs and the like. However, I mostly suggested it as a way to
let you (and others who want it) to use --nonet.
Nah, I probably just copied that --nonet from someplace else without
understanding it properly.
