+Building 2.16.0 against musl (on Yocto) fails with:
+
+  channel-memory-types.hpp:31:59: error: 'uid_t' has not been
+  declared; did you mean 'pid_t'?
+
+CAUSE
+━━━━━
+The header uses pid_t and uid_t without including <sys/types.h>.
+With glibc, those types leak in through the other included headers.
+musl's headers are seemingly stricter and don't declare them
+transitively.
+
+SOLUTION
+━━━━━━━━
+Include <sys/types.h>.
+
