[RFC PATCH 1/5] inetpeer: Abstract address representation further.

From: David Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
Date: 2011-02-10 06:12:26
Subsystem: networking [general], networking [ipv4/ipv6], networking [tcp], the rest · Maintainers: "David S. Miller", Eric Dumazet, Jakub Kicinski, Paolo Abeni, David Ahern, Ido Schimmel, Neal Cardwell, Linus Torvalds

Future changes will add caching information, and some of
these new elements will be addresses.

Since the family is implicit via the ->daddr.family member,
replicating the family in ever address we store is entirely
redundant.
