I see a reproducible oops in the current -git.
It occurs on an Fedora Core 5 box w/ 2.6.18-rc1-git (HEAD
e2b209509ca33743864846aef2e1b2afc21f7915). The topmost information
scrolls off the screen, so I don't know if its an oops or a BUG. What I
do see:
* FC5 boot proceeds normally, mounting local filesystems etc., until it
reaches the step where it determines the network address for eth0 (8139too).
* oops process shown as "ipcalc"
* complete call trace: ip_generic_getfrag, udp_sendmsg, neigh_lookup,
sock_sendmsg, find_get_page, autoremove_wake_function,
__handle_mm_fault, sys_sendto, do_page_fault, sys_connect
* This only occurs when I specify 'acpi=off'. If ACPI is enabled, the
box boots and networks happily.
Kernel .config is attached. I can't post dmesg or lspci for this
machine publicly. It's a modern Intel EM64T class machine.
