[PATCH 1/1] netfilter: Deletion of unnecessary checks before two function calls

From: SF Markus Elfring <hidden>
Date: 2014-11-18 19:48:05
Also in: kernel-janitors, lvs-devel, netdev, netfilter-devel
Subsystem: ipvs, netfilter, networking [general], the rest · Maintainers: Simon Horman, Julian Anastasov, Pablo Neira Ayuso, Florian Westphal, "David S. Miller", Eric Dumazet, Jakub Kicinski, Paolo Abeni, Linus Torvalds

From: Markus Elfring <redacted>
Date: Tue, 18 Nov 2014 20:37:05 +0100

The functions free_percpu() and module_put() test whether their argument
is NULL and then return immediately. Thus the test around the call is
not needed.

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.
