powerpc/ps3: Fix system hang with GCC 5 builds

From: Geoff Levand <geoff@infradead.org>
Date: 2016-11-29 18:47:36

GCC 5 generates different code for this bootwrapper null check
that causes the PS3 to hang very early in its bootup. This
check is of limited value, so just get rid of it.

This is not the correct way to submit patches for inclusion in the
stable kernel tree. Please read Documentation/stable_kernel_rules.txt
for how to do this properly.
