Problems with MPC8272ADS

Hi,

 

I am a bit newbie in this. I tried compiling Linux 2.4 using
ADS8272_deconfig from the kernel 2.6 and I have many compilation errors.
Are the deconfig files from 2.4 to 2.6 that different, or can I use the
2.6 file with little changes???

 

I don't understand why there is support for this board in 2.6 and not in
2.4, since Denx recommend 2.4.
