libraries in ELDK

Hi all
I am using ELDK-2005-0706, and I can not get symbols
when ppc_82xx-objdump -d libc-2.3.1.so, so I am not sure if the
function getaddrinfo() is in the libc?
And I wonder if there is some great difference between libnss_files-2.3.1.so and GLIBC?
