double fec on adder875

I found a patch to "fec.c" in 2.4 on http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/linuxppc/  to 
make work both the fecs on mpc875. 
Anyone used it? The patch is from Jan Damborsky. 
The patch is in state "REJECTED"!!
What is http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/linuxppc/? Something you can post patches 
that will be part of the official kernel?
