Freescale PowerQuick8540ADS board vs QUICCStart MPC8540

Dear All; I'll buy a QUICCStart MPC8540 from freecale, it includes linux 2.4 port from metrowerks, but I want to use 2.6 vanilla linux, on the kernel source tree, I can't find any board special config or source file, is this board compatible with 8540ADS, if not, how much modifications does it need?
