http://www.heeltoe.com/ has a usb driver for the 823, 850 processors.
This should be able to get you started. There is also text talking
about the pitfalls using the 8xx USB controller.=20

Subject: USB host on Freescale MPC880
=20
I need to provide a USB host interface on a propietary board=20
using a Freescale (Motorola) MPC880. The MPC880 has a USB=20
implemented in the CPM, but I haven't found any Linux support=20
for it. Can anyone point me to existing drivers? Does anyone=20
know of any problems that would/should prevent me from using=20
the MPC880's USB interface?

Thanks
