I just noticed that the footer added by the
list daemon changed to include:
** This list is shutting down 7/24/2004.
There's a short notice dated from yesterday about
the entire lists.linuxppc.org going down, but
no mention of any reason or clear migration path
for the users.
What's going on ???

See http://lists.linuxppc.org/news.html
I'm willing to host lists on lists.infradead.org if necessary. I assume
it'll get sorted out some other way though.

Why is the list admin so nervous about somebody downloading the archive:
"And if I find anyone trying to download the archives I'll shut
everything off immediately."
Wouldn't it be very handy if the archive survived this?

I have also offered publically to host them on a previous occasion.
We can stick them up at http://www.printk.net/ if needed.
Cheers,
Jon.

Is there already more known about the list's archive?
Thanks,
Jaap-Jan
