The 2.6 kernel has not been ported to 8xx yet.  If you look back over the
past few days on this list you'll see that a lot of work is being done
right
now on the 2.5 kernel, so hopefully we'll have 2.6 soon.  But for now if
you
need a reliable kernel you need to stick with 2.4

I subtracted some lines (...) that show warnings in the struct rs_table,
as there was one already declared (I didn't found it). When I compare
the
uart.c file for 8xx with the one for 8260, I find that this structure is
the same, and no errors were found when compiling for it.

I'm trying to follow the errors, but I didn't found a link between the
structure rs_table and serial_console_device (where these warnings
start).

Has anyone sucessfully compiled the kernel for 8xx PowerPC yet?

Any help would be apreciated,

No.  For Linus' tree there are snapshots of the bitkeeper version on
kernel.org I believe, and for the linuxppc trees there are still rsync
mirrors on source.mvista.com.
