about usb wirless network device in MPC8xx board

HI,
I have to drive an usb wirless network device on my MPC8xx board  on which
have successed to  use a usb storage disk,
the usb device use PRISM2 chipset from INTERSIL co. My embeded linux version
is 2.4.4.
Could anyboday help me to deal with it or give me some hint?
I have downloaded the driver source code from the linux-wlan web site, but I
can not port it to my target board successfully.
