Hi gang, After an otherwise unnecessary degree of abdication procrostination on my part, Boas Betzler [off-list ref] has now taken over responsibility for the PowerPC Embedded HOWTO. The choice of new maintainer was somewhat arbitrary, as I had a remarkably large number of quality applicants for the role of assuming maintainership -- I did mention that it was an entirely volunteer position, didn't I? :-). Boas is actively working in embedded Linux full time, has a long history of Linux involvement and should do a good job. A very big Thank You to everyone who expressed interest in this role. Although I will no longer be actively involved in the HOWTO, I recommend that everyone interested in contributing contact Boas via E-mail, so that he can co-ordinate future additions and act as a clearing-house for updates. Alternatively, pick any aspect of embedded Linux development for which you can't find adequate documentation, write a new HOWTO to cover it, and submit to the Linux Documentation Project. Good luck with your projects! See you around, Graham ====================================================================================== "The information contained in this e-mail message may be confidential information, and may also be privileged.
