debugging infor after decompress_kernel

From: Freddy Lugo <hidden>

 Hi all,

I got all the debugging info of the bootloader
(arch/ppc/boot/) but when the image is decompressed
I don't have any debugging information of the
arch/ppc/kernel/ files. This makes sense since the
image was compressed and without debugging symbols,
but then how I obtain the debug info of the kernel
 after bootloading?

 Any help?

 Thanks,

 Freddy Lugo

You need to use the 'vmlinux' file for the information.
I simply 'gdb vmlinux' then remotely attach to the debugger,
either KGDB or Abatron.
