PrPMC750 board supported?

From: Toshimitsu Murakami <hidden>
Date: 2001-03-09 02:46:46

Hello,

I am porting Linux (2.2 or 2.4) to PrPMC750 board.
But the Linux cannot boot yet from Network boot.
Does anyone know how it can boot?

My environment is:
Kernel MontaVista CDK 1.2 (2.2.14 or 2.4-test2)
	Kernel 2.4.3-pre2
Moniter PPCBug

Regards,

Toshi Murakami

The experimental 2_5 kernel at fsmlabs support the PrPMC750. I have not
tested it, but I'm working on a 'similar' board and it works fine.

Bye.

Stefano.

Hi, Stefano,

	Thank you for information.
But I cannot find the 2_5 kernel of RTLinux at fsmlabs' ftp.
Can I use version 3.0 instead of 2_5?

Good day.

Toshi

Excuse me, too brief in my precedent mail, you can download the 2_5 kernel
tree with bitkeeper connecting to the port 5005. You can find some hints at:
http://bitkeeper.fsmlabs.com/linuxppcbk.html

It is not the RTLinux kernel, it is the standard linuxppc kernel under
development.

Bye.
Stefano.

Our BriQs boots just fine over the network.

We are using Yaboot.

Then again - your platform, I think, is just a PREP while we have the
advantage of Open Firmware. I don't know if that makes a difference?
