Porting 8xxROM to Embedded Planet CLLF board

Hi folks,

Before I set off to re-invent the wheel, I'm wondering if anyone has attempted
to port the 8xxROM code (from http://www.s4l.de/powerpc.html) to the Embedded
Planet CLLF 860T board?

Alternatively, has anyone tried using Motorola's DINK32 ROM monitor from:
http://www.mot.com/SPS/PowerPC/teksupport/tools/DINK32/VERSION12/dinkindex.htm

That's more than re-inventing the wheel.  Why in the world would you
want to do this?  The monitor and utility functions in the CLLF are
far superior to either of the pieces of software you reference.
