HP Folio 1020 Forcepad

Just wondering if anyone has been able to make any progress on getting 
the Forcepad in this device working with the native Linux Synaptics 
driver? In fact there is no support for the Microchip interface 
controller which is also used to control a touchscreen (long with the 
touchpad) in this model.

I contacted HP and this has yielded the result:

"..install Windows instead.."

I am so disappointed with HP. So FU HP.
