Source code of FB device driver for XGI Z-series

What is XGIfb?

 

 

This is a frame buffer driver for XGI Graphics chips .

This driver supports Z7, Z9, Z9s and Z11 chips and DVI output.

 

Advantages:

* It provides a nice graphic text console.

* support DirectFB

 

 

XGIfb driver is modified from sisfb driver and the basic code base is
almost the same.

The difference is that XGIfb's setmode functions is based on the XGI
Z-series chips.

So, XGIfb can support Z9/Z9s/Z11 DVI output and is developed for XGI
Z-series chips with more completed features support than sisfb.
