Linus, please do a

	bk pull http://fbdev.bkbits.net/fbdev-2.5

This is the bulk of the framebuffer changes. It has many important fixes
that are needed. Please apply. Normal diff is avaliable at

http://phoenix.infradead.org/~jsimmons/fbdev.diff.gz

Thank you.

[FBCON] Nuked the final gloabl variables for the cursor code.

{GENERIC CURSOR] Wrongly using the size of the passed in cursor instead of the local cursor in struct fb_info.

<jsimmons@kozmo.(none)> (03/03/20 1.968)
[CONTROL/PLATNIUM FBDEV] Small cleanups to latest changes.
   [AMIGA FBDEV] Removed console.h file.
[CONSOLE] Nuked gloabl variables video_scan_line and freinds. This makes working with VCs of different resolutions possible.

<jsimmons@kozmo.(none)> (03/03/20 1.967)
[AMIGA FBDEV] Ported over to new api.

<jsimmons@kozmo.(none)> (03/03/19 1.966)
[FBDEV] Killed of a static buffer in the generic software cursor. We didn't need it and it is a bad idea to have a static buffer is we have more than one framebuffer.

[FBCON] More optimzations in accel_cursor in attempts to eliminate more static buffers.

[off-list ref] (03/03/18 1.964)
[FBDEV] Ug!!! For some reason BK keeps removing this change. I hope this is the last time I have to add it.

[off-list ref] (03/03/18 1.963)
[FBDEV] If a colormap contains no transparency information, fb_set_cmap() calls
fb_setcolreg() with trans = 0. This causes all CLUT entries to be fully
transparent on hardware that does have transparency information in the CLUT
   registers.

The following patch solves this problem by changing the default transparency
from 0 (full transparent) to 0xffff (full opaque).

<jsimmons@kozmo.(none)> (03/03/17 1.960)
[FBCON]More optimizations. Removed moving struct display around.

[off-list ref] (03/03/15 1.955)
[SIS FBDEV] Added Maintiner for SIS fbdev driver.

[FBDEV] Updates to drivers ported to new api.

[FBCON] Cursor handling clean up. I nuked several static variables.

<jsimmons@kozmo.(none)> (03/03/12 1.951)
[FBCON] Killing off more cursor fields in struct display. Use what is in struct vc_data.

<jsimmons@kozmo.(none)> (03/03/11 1.950)
[CONSOLE] Nuked a few gloabl variables. Now that the console system supports different sized screens these gloabl variables are a bad idea.

<jsimmons@kozmo.(none)> (03/03/10 1.947)
[FBDEV] Menu cleanups. Added in depenedency needed. More cleanup in fbcon layer.

James,

This change just broke the updated fix for matroxfb that
Petr provided. So, with all due respect, where do you (or
anyone else) stand on getting matroxfb working again? I'm
not complaining, but matrox cards are *supposed* to be the
most supported cards by linux, which was one of the factors
which led me to buy one. I know nothing about video
programming, otherwise I'd try doing it myself. Thanks for
all the hardwork you and others have done so far.

Cheers,
Nicholas
