Interrupts for I2C slave.

Hi All,

Is it possible to use interrupts for i2c slave device.

I am using bmp180 barometer temperature sensor as i2c slave device. is
it possible to have interrupts for this device or we have any other
method to check the status of the registers in regular intervals.
