Timer Implementation

 Hallo ,

Am master student in univeristy of paderborn in Germany. Am doing a
research for my thesis on the KVM-Linux implementation for ARM cortex a8. I
would like to know one important information regarding how
timer interrupts are forwarded to the guest from the host Linux  or how
timer interrupts are handled in the software stack of linux kernel, kvm and
qemu. It would be great help if you give some idea regarding this.
