This may be ambitious but I am trying to get ACPI working on a Tecra
S1 Gentoo Try the patch attached to http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1690 It sorta worked for my Tecra S1, i.e. the error message goes away and I get the battery status. Suspend-to-ram (S3) still doesn't work even with kernel 2.6.7, but that's probably not an ACPI problem.
