ACPI in kernel 2.6.0-test3,4,5

Hi,

I am testing the most recent 2.6 kernels. ACPI support for my notebook has
become worse from test3 to test5:

With test3 I could have acpi enabled without any boot options.

Test4 required the boot parameter pci=noacpi or the system would hang
during bootup (if I remember correctly it was during USB setup) and could
only be turned off with a hard reset.

Test5 does not boot with any acpi enabled even if using pci=noacpi or
pci=biosirq. Only acpi=off lets the system boot.

No failure messages are written to the syslog the system just hangs. The
chipset is a VIA P4X266.

Anybody having similar problems? Any fixes known or expected for test6?

Thanks in advance
Andre
