eternal blocking on /proc/acpi/sleep with 2.4.21-pre5, acpi20030228 and swsusp19

Dear lists,

I'm seeing strange behaviour with kernel 2.4.21-pre5, acpi 20030228 and
swsusp v19. When I do "echo -n 4 > /proc/acpi/sleep" the machine suspends
to disc as expected. When it resumes however, the /proc/acpi/sleep echo is
still blocking, and the only way to get rid of it is to kill the parent
shell or executing shell script with SIGKILL.

In short, I'm experiencing the same as:

I'm reporting this because it worked 100% with 2.4.21-pre3, acpi 20030109
and swsusp16. I'll start using /proc/sys/kernel/swsusp now. :)

Thanks,
Charl
