2.4.20-pre7 ACPI of September, 18th

Hi there,

I've just patched 2.4.20-pre7 with latest ACPI patches and I must say, again,
jep, AGAIN, network cards are _NOT_ working.

It is somewhat funny that really _every 2nd_ release breaks my network cards
;) ... Anyway, "pci=noacpi" helps but is that the desired behaviour?

P.S.: 2.5.xx behaves the same. Hmm ...

I have 2 EtherExpress PRO/100 cards and 1 RTL8139C.

If it's the desired behaviour, tell me and I shut up, if not, tell me what to
do to help debugging (it seems that you forget every 2nd release the fix for
that?! ;))
