Micronit. 2.9.1 (or 2.9.2) would not be a "major release". 2.9.0 was, and x.y.z (z > 0) are "maintenance releases".

Yeah, I wondered about that when I saw : https://github.com/git/git.github.io/commit/d2eb8fbbb30594d19fcda731c309ad03229dc5d5 but forgot to ask or do something about it... Thanks, Christian.
