Yeah. Sorry- stray files were lying around from the previous 'git format-patch' invocation. Which brings me to: I wonder if it makes sense to (optionally) check that the directory is empty when executing 'git format-patch -o <dir>'. I sometimes forget to do it by hand. -- Ram
