Getting the latest branches/tags with git svn?

Hi,

How do I go about getting the latest list of branches and tags with
git svn?  My list seems to basically stay at the same state as when I
initially created the repo.  Subsequent git svn rebase and git svn
fetch operations seem to just be fetching changes to trunk.
