msysGit install fail on windows

I've downloaded msysGit-fullinstall-1.7.0.2-preview20100309.exe, it's 30.6M
size.
When I click it to install, I see the console to build msysGit, while
produce some error
about fast-import.c  file.
It complains:
fast-import.c : 713 : stray '\713' in program.
I really don't understand what it complains.
Does anyone encounter this situation before? How to fix it?
